I have noticed a 3 bed end of terrace property that has just come on the market. The property on Eton Place is a very central location close to the university and the city centre. The property looks like it could do with some TLC, but has the basics such as GCH and Double glazing. The property is on the market for offers over £115,000 and other properties on the same street have sold for in excess of £150,000 over the last few years.
The Property would rent for around £700 to a family, or with the property being so close to the university a rent of around £900 could be achieved to students once the property has been modernised. This would give you a yield of 9.4% based on the purchase price.
I don't think this property will be on the market very long!!
